STAR SCREENS
The star screens are a screening method that has gained much relevance in recent years due to its high efficiency in difficult sieve materials. It is a machine of robust construction, high efficiency and compact design with minimum requirements of energy, which is ideal for resource recovery.
The Star Screen was created to separate the particles of various dimensions deriving from the acts of cutting of wood such as wood shavings, wood chips, biomass, sawdust, also derivatives such as bark of pine tree as well as other distinctive products like humus, sand, glass and many others.
The stars can have variable diameters and steps with several configurations and materials, and can be driven by electric or hydraulic means and speed variation is provided whenever necessary.
The raw material is inserted into the stars through conveyors, and cast all the raw material to the following stars until the end of the screen. The Particles that have smaller dimension that openings between stars, fall by gravity into the deposit or are collected by conveyors. Larger particles are thrown by the stars until the end of the screen, being picked up by conveyors or simply being deposited.
The screening lines are custom designed to suit the layout and requirements of a specific application.
